Hannie Raegan is the Burlesque Idol Australia 2016 WINNER and Burlesque Idol Australia Ambassador.
This Vaudeville doll has been carving it up on the Australian Burlesque scene for the past 5 years and has performed internationally in Canada and the US. It all started in Melbourne town when she starred as The Awkward Ballerina in "Audition Spectacular" at the world famous Spiegeltent. After relocating to Sydney, she performed at Slide Bar on Oxford Street and then went on to perform at Red Light Confidential’s First Anniversary Party in 2013. The good times kept on rolling for this lanky lass when she was accepted into the Australian Burlesque Festival Byron Bay Showcase. In 2014 she starred in the leading roll of Victoria in Clara Klemski's production of Strip. Hannie went on to create Poe Productions Australia. A Burlesque Theatre Company dedicated to presenting works inspired by the great Edgar Allan Poe. Her past Burlesque credits include The Australian Burlesque Festival, Edgar's Girls Vanguard Burlesque, Pink Pussycat Burlesque and she has been the headlining act for Mr Falcons Burlesque and New York City's HyperGender Burlesque. Hannie is also a graduate of the Actors Centre Australia and is a successful theatre and film actress. She has appeared on Channel 7 and Channel 9 in various Television dramas and continues to work in feature film and theatre.
